  Providing grant aid
Image: Disabled Person Using Access Ramp at Train Station LTP Grant Aid (Local Transport Plan) provides grant aid, for an initial period, to assist Community transport, or other community, organisations to provide:

Services which enhance public transport services;Transport, or other, services which compliment public transport services; or Transport services which, meet particular needs but which cannot be provided, practically or economically, by public transport services.
Grant requirements
LTP Grant Aid (Local Transport Plan) requires the schemes that it assists with grant aid, to prove :

the social need for the grant aided service, to be or, being provided; the social cost/benefits of the grant aided service, to be or, being provided; that the service can, within three years attract alternative funding to continue the service; be superseded by a, more responsive, alternative service; or fulfill its role, to a client group, and cease to be needed;
